Albany Law Review is honored to invite practitioners, legal scholars, and law students to begin submitting manuscripts to be considered for its Lead Articles issue, which is our journal's flagship legal publication. Each year it includes articles addressing contemporary issues of legal and societal importance at a local, national, and international level. For Lead Articles, there is no specific theme. We welcome any and all submissions exploring legal issues that authors are passionate about.
Past contributors to the Albany Law Review include former Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman and former Senior Associate Judge Eugene F. Pigott Jr. of the New York State Court of Appeals, Justice Ronald Marc George of the Supreme Court of California, Kimberley D. Harris of NBCUniversal, Benjamin Pomerance of the New York State Department of Veterans’ Services, professors from Yale University and William & Mary Law school, and many others.
Interested authors should submit their articles via Scholastica or email at lawreview@albanylaw.edu. Questions may be directed to Kathryn Benedetti, Executive Editor for Lead Articles, at kbenedetti@albanylaw.edu. Articles will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.
