Stetson Law Review is now seeking articles for the 2027 edition of its Local Government Law issue. Traditionally, the issue offers articles on emerging and evolving local government problems and summaries of recent local government caselaw, making it a significant asset to attorneys who represent or appear before local governments across the State of Florida.
We invite you to submit an article for publication in the next edition of our highly visible issue, which is normally disseminated to numerous prominent Florida local government organizations. We hope you take advantage of this unique opportunity to share your specialized knowledge for the benefit of the profession while showcasing your expertise to potential employers, partners, or clients.
Each submission must relate to local government law, with a focus on implications for Florida local government attorneys. The additional general submission guidelines are as follows:
- Full-Length Article: A scholarly article between 15,000 and 25,000 words (including footnotes) that provides in-depth analysis of a significant or recent local government topic; or
- Short Article: A scholarly article between 8,000 and 14,000 words (including footnotes); can be an article for the “Last Word” section, which features a scholar or practitioner’s reflection on the impact of a recent appellate decision.
