Call for Submissions - Albany Law Review Justice Commentaries issue.

Albany Law Review is calling for submissions to its Justice Commentaries issue. This year, we are seeking scholarship examining ways First Amendment protections have been leveraged or manipulated in strategic ways that have raised concerns about consequences and constraints in modern society. Interested authors are encouraged to submit their articles directly through Scholastica or to Jennifer Tedisco, Executive Editor for Justice Commentaries, at jtedisco@albanylaw.edu.
 
We generally publish article-length manuscripts (40-70 pages), though the journal does not have an official page-cap policy. Length judged to be excessive will weigh against selection. Essays (20-40 pages) and book reviews will be considered on a limited basis.

All articles should be submitted as editable Microsoft Word documents. Text should be double spaced. Note that Albany Law Review edits text according to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st ed. 2020) and, where the Bluebook is silent, the Chicago Manual of Style (17th ed. 2017).

Citations must substantially conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st ed. 2020). Manuscripts should use footnotes and not endnotes.
