The Kentucky Law Journal ( KLJ ) will begin accepting submissions for Volume 115 on Sunday, February 1st. Founded in 1913, the Kentucky Law Journal is the nation's tenth-oldest continually published law review. We publish legal scholarship covering a broad range of topics in four print issues each year, plus timely scholarship online.

We accept articles, book reviews, and comments from all members of the bar. Please note, however, that we cannot accept submissions authored by current law students. We will consider articles between 15,000 and 25,000 words, inclusive of footnotes, and require a draft of the piece in .docx format, the author’s CV, and a cover letter, if desired. Citations should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (22nd ed.).

Thank you for your interest in the Kentucky Law Journal. We will review submissions on a rolling basis, so please apply as soon as possible!

We look forward to reading your submissions!

Very Respectfully,

Garrett Fonville Sams
