The Georgia State University Law Review is pleased to share that it will be hosting its annual symposium on Friday, March 21, 2025. This year, the GSU Law Review will be discussing legal moralism, particularly focusing on what practitioners can learn from the academy’s understanding of the creation, implementation, and modification of laws of a primarily moral nature.

There is no conference fee, and the Georgia State University Law Review will provide speakers with funding for travel and accommodations.

To apply, please submit a proposal to symposiumeditor@gsu.edu. Proposals may also be submitted directly through Scholastica. In your proposal, please indicate whether you are interested in publishing your work, speaking at the symposium, or both publishing and speaking.

That sounds like an incredible opportunity for anyone interested in the intersection of law and morality. If you're submitting, I'd recommend focusing on a topic you're genuinely passionate about—it'll make your proposal stand out. In my experience, diving deep into a subject really helps clarify your thoughts and strengthens your argument. I also find that using https://app.scholasticahq.com/conversation/ has been invaluable for tackling complex analysis and ensuring my data is accurate. Don't hesitate to reach out for support when needed. Best of luck to all participants!
