The Nevada Law Journal is pleased to announce a call for papers for its symposium issue, Equal Justice Under Law – Innovation and Reform in Access to Justice. This symposium will explore inequalities in access to justice: the causes and effects, potential solutions, and the implications of challenges and opportunities for our society, nation, and world. We are seeking papers regarding this topic for publication with the opportunity for an in-person or virtual symposium event.
We invite interested parties to submit abstracts of at least 400 words; we also welcome longer summaries and draft papers as an initial submission. Abstracts should be proposals for articles with fewer than 30,000 words. Submissions should be sent to David Elder, Symposium Editor, at elderd1@unlv.nevada.edu with the subject line “NLJ Call for Papers.” Abstracts are due no later than 11:59 p.m. PST on April 30, 2026. Please include a curriculum vitae and/or resume in the email with your abstract.
Selected authors will be notified by May 15, 2026. Complete drafts will be due August 1, 2026. Accepted submissions will be published in Issue 3, Volume 27 of the Nevada Law Journal (forthcoming May 2027).
