The Seattle Journal for Technology, Environmental, and Innovation Law (SJTEIL) is currently accepting submissions for Volume 17. As one of Seattle University's premier specialty journals, SJTEIL serves as a platform for insightful legal scholarship that addresses the ever-evolving challenges at the intersection of law, technology, innovation, and the environment. Given Seattle’s prominence as a hub for technology and environmental innovation, we are excited to extend this call to a wider audience of experienced practitioners and scholars who may have work ready for publication.
We invite authors to submit original, high-quality articles that contribute to the understanding and development of legal issues surrounding technology, innovation, environmental law, and their intersections.
Submission Details:
- Manuscripts should be between 30 and 60 pages in length.
- Citations should follow The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation. While adherence to Bluebook standards is required for final submissions, we are flexible with formatting during the submission phase.
- All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process.
- The deadline for submission is July 30, 2026.
