Stetson Law Review is now seeking articles for the 2025 edition of its Local Government Law Issue. This annual journal is produced by the Stetson University College of Law in conjunction with the City, County and Local Government Law Section of the Florida Bar and is provided to all members of the Section and the Florida League of Cities, Inc. The journal offers articles on emerging and evolving local government issues and summaries of recent case law related to the same, making it a significant asset to all attorneys who practice for or in front of local governments across the State of Florida.

We invite you to submit an article for publication in the next edition of the highly visible issue. We are hopeful that you take advantage of this unique opportunity to share your specialized knowledge for the benefit of the profession while showcasing your expertise to potential employers, partners, or clients in the process.

Each submission must be related to local government law, with a focus on Florida Law. The additional general submission guidelines are as follows:

➢ Full-Length Article: a scholarly article, between twenty-five to forty pages, providing in-depth analysis of a significant local government law topic; or
➢ Short Article: fifteen to twenty-five pages; for example, the “Last Word” by counsel of the non-prevailing party in a recently decided appellate case.

If you are interested in publishing in the Stetson Law Review Local Government Law Issue, please contact the Local Government Editor at localgovslr@law.stetson.edu. The deadline to submit an article for the 2025 edition is October 1, 2024, but we welcome and encourage earlier submissions.

Thank you,
