The Student Journal of Information Privacy Law (SJIPL) at the University of Maine School of Law is pleased to announce that we will immediately begin accepting submissions for Volume V. SJIPL publishes exclusively student-authored work, providing a rare opportunity for current law students to publish in a scholarly journal outside of their home institution.
Submissions may be received via email at sjipleditor@maine.edu or via Scholastica. Submissions made during this time will be considered for publication in one of two Paginated Online Issues of our journal at the conclusion of the 2026 Fall and 2027 Spring semesters. We review these submissions on a rolling basis and will continue considering submissions until our journal is full.
Submissions related exclusively to privacy law are always welcome, but we also encourage submissions that explore intersections between privacy and information law and other disciplines, such as criminal, immigration, and environmental law. For the Spring 2027 Issue, we are especially interested in articles addressing privacy and data in the context of national borders.
For additional information concerning submissions and requirements for Articles, please see our website at Submissions | The Student Journal of Information Privacy Law. I sincerely hope you will consider publishing your work with our journal.
Sincerely,
The Student Journal of Information Privacy Law
