The University of Miami Law Review is now accepting submissions for Issue 1 of Volume 81, which will be published in the fall of 2026. Authors may submit their manuscripts, curriculum vitae (CV), and cover letter through Scholastica (https://university-of-miami-law-review.scholasticahq.com/). Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Authors interested in obtaining an expedited review of their materials may also participate in the concurrent Expedited Submission Track. The Expedited Track allows authors to submit their materials directly to our Senior Articles Editor, Quinten Smith, at UMLRSeniorArticlesEditor@law.miami.edu until February 1, 2026. The selection committee guarantees a decision via email on every submission received through the expedited track no later than February 6. Authors who utilize the Expedited Submission Track agree to accept or decline any publication offer we may extend within 72 hours of receiving the offer.
