As an attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice, Dean Glickstein helped draft the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. He went on to serve as the founding director of the Notre Dame Center for Civil Rights and later led Touro Law Center as Dean from 1986 to 2004. Articles selected for the issue will form part of a lasting tribute to his legacy.
We welcome articles on any dimension of civil rights law, and submissions need not address Dean Glickstein or his work directly. Doctrinal, historical, empirical, and practice-oriented work is equally welcome, as are submissions from scholars, jurists, practitioners, and law students.
