Call for Submissions:

The UC Law SF International Law Review is now accepting submissions for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 publication in Volume 50. Founded in 1976, the UC Law SF International Law Review (formerly Hastings International and Comparative Law Review) was one of the first law journals in the country dedicated exclusively to legal discourse on the most pressing international and comparative legal issues. As a resource for both academics and practitioners, we publish scholarship engaging critically with public and private international law, international human rights, international criminal law, and comparative and transnational legal studies.

Please note that Fall 2026 has limited remaining space, so authors hoping for that issue are encouraged to submit as early as possible; all other submissions will be considered for Spring 2027.

Submission guidelines:

  • Articles are preferred over shorter works
  • All submissions must conform to the 21st edition of the Bluebook
  • Submissions may be sent by e-mail to uclilr@uclawsf.edu or via Scholastica, if used.
Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all available slots are filled. We look forward to reading your work.

Sincerely,

Taryn D'Amore
