The UCLA Law Review is now accepting submissions for Discourse Volume 74.

Discourse publishes shorter articles, response pieces to articles previously published in the UCLA Law Review and Discourse, book reviews, interdisciplinary work, and empirical studies.  Submissions to Discourse are considered on a rolling basis and, if accepted, have an expedited production schedule.  Discourse articles are published on Westlaw, Lexis, and in other legal databases.  Ideal submissions are between 3,000 and 7,000 words, footnotes included.  Submissions over 10,000 words are not reviewed.

Discourse especially seeks to publish work from that is accessible to non-lawyers and individuals impacted by legal systems.  Discourse invites essays, reflections, public remarks, and any non-traditional submissions, including submissions in languages other than English.  Discourse strongly encourages authors to use person-first language in submissions.

To Submit All Works: Please submit the manuscript and your CV through Scholastica.  Discourse will not accept traditional academic submissions sent via email.  Exceptions may be made at the journal's discretion for authors for whom Scholastica submissions are not feasible.  Additional submission guidelines and requirements are located at the Discourse website Submissions Page.
