The University of Baltimore Law Forum (Law Forum) is now accepting submissions for its 2026-27 publication cycle. Founded in 1970, Law Forum is the oldest journal at the University of Baltimore School of Law, concentrating on developing trends and topics unique to the Maryland legal community. With over 300 print subscribers and over 36,000 electronic views, Law Forum maintains a direct connection with Maryland practitioners, legislators, judges, and the legal community at large. 

We are open to publishing on a variety of topics, but are specifically seeking work in the following areas related to Maryland law:
  • Cannabis Law; 
  • Trusts & Estates; 
  • Family/Child Law; 
  • Housing Crisis in Maryland; and  
  • Immigration.

Abstract Requirements 

  • Deadline for Issue 1: July 10, 2026, at 11:59 P.M. 
  • Deadline for Issue 2: October 1, 2026, at 11:59 P.M.
