The UNLV Gaming Law Journal invites submissions for Volume 17, to be published in Spring 2027.

The UNLV Gaming Law Journal (GLJ) is published by the students of the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in conjunction with the International Masters of Gaming Law. GLJ is the only specialty journal in the United States dedicated to the analyzing the law and policy implications of gaming case law, legislation, and administrative regulations.

We welcome scholarly articles, essays, and commentaries exploring all aspects of gaming law, including but not limited to:
  • Sports betting and esports wagering
  • State and federal regulation
  • Online and mobile gambling
  • Prediction markets
  • Skill-based gaming and sweepstakes
  • Tribal gaming
  • International and comparative gaming law
  • Cryptocurrency and blockchain in gaming
  • Responsible gambling and regulatory compliance
Submissions may be made through Scholastica or by email to lead.articles.editor@unlvgaminglawjournal.org 

Please submit your manuscript as a Word document (.docx) and provide a CV with your submission.
  • Body text: justified, Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double spaced
  • Preferred length: 4,000–25,000 words
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10-point font
  • Citations: Must conform to the 22nd Edition of The Bluebook
  • Deadline for submission: July 24, 2026
