The Latiné Journal of Law & Policy at Berkeley Law is accepting submissions for Volume 36 to be published in mid-2026!

The Berkeley Latine Journal of Law & Policy is a student-run law review at Berkeley Law dedicated to examining legal issues affecting Latinx communities. Founded in 1981 by Latinx students and allies, the Journal is among the few law reviews in the United States centered on Latinx conditions, identities, and lived experiences. Past issues have explored topics including immigration, labor, voting rights, education, community empowerment, and Latinx Critical Legal Theory. Through its publications, symposia, and speaker programming, the Journal seeks to advance rigorous scholarship that informs law, policy, and practice in service of social justice and self-determination.

Submissions should be between 6000-10000 words, excluding footnotes. Manuscripts can be submitted through the Latine Journal of Law & Policy Law Scholastica or via email to bljlp@berkeley.edu.

Please reach out to our Editorial Board at bljlp@berkeley.edu if you have any questions. We look forward to reviewing your submissions!
