The William & Mary Law Review is pleased to begin planning its annual Symposium for the 2026-2027 academic year. Each year the Law Review partners with either leading organizations or scholars in the field to bring together top legal minds for academic discourse. We are now accepting proposals for the 2027 Symposium to be held at America's first law school, William & Mary.
Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis. The Symposium will take place in Spring 2027, with the associated articles to be published in Volume 69. Although the Symposium proposal may address any legal topic, we encourage submissions on topics that will attract diverse perspectives and lively discussion.
To submit a proposal, please include:
(1) your CV,
(2) best point of contact,
(3) a detailed description of the topic,
(4) themes for panel discussions, and
(5) a list of potential participants.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions to Rachel Spruill, the Symposium Editor (rrspruill@wm.edu). Proposal submissions must be submitted to Rachel by Sunday, April 12th, 2026, to be considered. Thank you!
