Dear authors,
The University of Miami Law Review is now accepting early submissions via its Expedited Submission Track for Issue 1 of Volume 81, to be published in the Fall of 2026. The general, non-expedited submission track for Issue 3 will open on Friday, January 30th.
The Expedited Submission Track allows authors to submit their manuscripts, curriculum vitae (CV), and cover letter directly to our Senior Articles Editor, Quinten Smith, at UMLRSeniorArticlesEditor@law.miami.edu from January 26, 2026 until February 1, 2026. The selection committee guarantees a decision via email on every submission received through the Expedited Track no later than February 6, 2026.
Authors who utilize the Expedited Submission Track agree to accept or decline any publication offer we may extend within 72 hours of receiving the offer. We kindly ask that authors note their decision to participate in the Expedited Track in their submission email.
