The Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology has launched its online publication--JCLC Online--and we are accepting submissions!

In addition to pieces on general criminal law issues, JCLC Online is actively soliciting pieces for our Launch Series–Pandemics in America: Criminal Law Perspectives on Coronavirus, Race, and Policing in 2020–which is slated for publication in Fall 2020.

JCLC Online seeks both traditional and nontraditional content, and will consider articles, essays, book reviews, comments, and policy briefs. JCLC Online encourages submissions from professors, lawmakers, judges, practitioners, academics, and students.

We accept submissions between 3,000 and 10,000 words, with a preference for pieces that are between 4,000 and 9,000 words. Text and citations should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citations (20th ed. 2015) and the Texas Law Review Manual on Usage & Style.

JCLC Online is committed to amplifying the voices of those who are traditionally marginalized in criminal law scholarship and debate. We seek out and encourage submissions from authors with diversity of experience and perspective.
