The Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation at University of Oregon School of Law is accepting submissions for our 36th volume, forthcoming Spring 2021. We are hoping to receive all of submissions by mid-August, but will certainly work with authors' timeline given the circumstances of COVID-19.

Articles must discuss new ideas and contemporary topics in environmental and natural resources law. All submissions are welcome, but we are especially interested in articles with a focus on land use, disaster law, coastal resilience, and other justice topics. Articles should be over 3,000 words and must not exceed 25,000 words.

If you have an article you would like to submit, please send your resume or C.V. and the completed article to

If you are currently working on an article and think you may be able to submit it around mid-to-late-August, please let us know and we will try to work with your schedule.
