The Journal of Food Law & Policy is now accepting articles and essays for consideration for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 issues! The Journal seeks submissions that provide analysis, propose initiatives, and offer thoughtful commentary on any food law & policy issue. Founded in 2005, the student-edited journal is a recognized leader in publishing articles and essays on law and policy issues that impact our food system. Articles that speak to agricultural or environmental law issues, in addition to food law & policy issues, are welcome.
The Journal will accept submissions on a rolling basis to fill available publication spots as needed. Submissions may be emailed, attached as a Word document, to foodlaw@uark.edu along with a resume or short form CV. An abstract is encouraged but optional. Articles that are 20,000 words or less and essays that are 2,500 words or less are preferred. All submissions are expected to be factually correct, well-written, and cited to authoritative sources. For questions, please email foodlaw@uark.edu. Thank you!
Best,
