Call for Symposium Proposals
2026–2027 Academic Year
Proposal Deadline: June 1, 2026
Pace Law Review is now accepting symposium proposals for the 2026–2027 academic year. The selected symposium will be held during the Fall 2026 semester, and the resulting scholarship will be published in Pace Law Review, Volume 47, Issue 2, scheduled for publication in Spring 2027.
Each year, the law reviews of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University work with scholars, practitioners, and other legal professionals to organize symposia on timely and important legal issues. Pace Law Review welcomes proposals addressing any area of law, with preference given to topics that are timely, significant, and likely to generate meaningful discussion and strong legal scholarship.
Proposals should be submitted in writing and should include the following:
- Description of the proposed symposium topic, including relevant background and subject matter;
- Discussion of the topic’s timeliness, relevance, and contribution to legal scholarship;
- Proposed format, including panels, keynote speakers, roundtable discussions, or other program structure;
- Preliminary list of speakers, panelists, and contributors, including brief bios where available;
- List of potential authors who may submit articles, essays, or commentaries for publication in the symposium issue;
- Status of participant commitments, including whether speakers and authors have been confirmed or are anticipated;
- Funding information, including any secured or potential funding sources and an anticipated budget, if available to offset Pace Law Review funding; and
- Contact information for the proposed symposium organizer or organizers, including the person who will work directly with the Pace Law Review editorial board.
Applicants should also indicate whether they would like assistance from Pace Law Review in identifying or recruiting speakers, panelists, or authors.

The Pace Law Review editorial board will review all submissions and may contact applicants to discuss proposals further. A final selection will be made by July 1, 2026.
