During a recent refresh of our Scholastica account, we became aware that a number of authors received erroneous rejection notifications for manuscripts that were submitted prior to 2026—including those whose manuscripts were submitted in previous publication cycles or have already been published. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or concern this may have caused.

We want to assure you that your submission was properly reviewed and considered during your respective submission cycle, and this notification does not reflect the status or outcome of your manuscript.

To those who reached out to us directly—thank you. We appreciate your diligence in flagging this issue, and your patience as we work to resolve it.

We regret any uncertainty this error may have introduced and are taking steps to ensure it does not occur again.
