The American University National Security Law Brief is now accepting articles for the 2018-19 publishing year.
Dedicated to examining the legal dimensions of U.S. national security law and policy, the AU National Security Law Brief publishes an annual print publication. This year, the Brief will also be expanding into a separate semi-annual Kindle-based electronic publication. Submitted works will be considered for both publications unless the author specifies a preference for one format over the other.
Scholarly works of all lengths addressing topics related to national security law will be considered, however, applicants are encouraged to submit articles of between 10 and 40 pages. Works addressing policy are welcome, however, to be considered, all works should also have a nexus to legal issues.
