The National Center for State Courts, founded in 1971 by Chief Justice Warren Burger and President Richard Nixon, NCSC serves as a central resource for state courts tracking the imminent issues affecting state courts including: management, technology, security, legal trends, social issues, and beyond. You do not need a legal background to submit to Trends. NCSC is interested in all topics and areas of expertise that may shed some light and guidance on an issue impacting or expected in impact the state courts.

NCSC has three categories of publications under its Trends product. The annual Trends in State Courts Journal, the quarterly Trends: Close Up,  and the as needed Trends Online

Now through October 11, 2019 we will be accepting submissions for the 2020 edition of Trends in State Courts. If you are interested in submitting for the annual journal please see our submission guidelines https://trends.scholasticahq.com/for-authors

We accept submissions for Trends Close Up  and Trends Online on a rolling basis.

If you have any questions regarding Trends or its publication process, please do not hesitate to contact one of the editors listed below. We look forward to reading your contributions!
