University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law: Call for Submissions

We are pleased to announce that the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law is open for submissions for Volume 26, to be published during the 2023-2024 academic year. Please submit electronic submissions through Scholastica or by email to conlaw@law.upenn.edu. Please direct all inquiries to the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal at conlaw@law.upenn.edu. 

Articles are only considered for publication if they have a constitutional hook and cover important topics in the field of constitutional law. Authors should submit a C.V. and cover letter with their manuscript. The Journal has a preference for around 30,000 words in length (footnote inclusive). Shorter pieces and essays can be submitted for consideration for our online publication, JCL OnlineJCL Online is the official online companion to the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law. Although there is no strict criteria for publication in JCL Online, submissions should have no less than 3,000 words and no more than 8,000 words (inclusive of footnotes). Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and those who have already submitted a manuscript on or after February 1, 2023 will be considered for publication and do not need to resubmit.
