Vermont Journal of Environmental Law Vol. 28 Call for Submissions
The Vermont Journal of Environmental Law (VJEL) is now accepting article submissions for our Fall 2026 issue. We invite legal scholars, practitioners, and judges to submit articles that provide legal analysis, commentary, or policy proposals on issues at the intersection of environmental law and environmental justice.
Founded in 1998, VJEL is a student-edited publication affiliated with Vermont Law School, which is consistently ranked among the nation’s top environmental law programs. We welcome articles covering a broad spectrum of environmental law and policy topics, including but not limited to environmental justice, agriculture, energy, natural resources, and climate change law.
While we prefer articles of 25,000 words or less, we encourage submissions of all lengths for consideration. Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis to fill available publication slots. Authors may submit their work via email at articlesvjel@vermontlaw.edu or gracecunningham@vermontlaw.edu.
We look forward to reviewing your scholarship and appreciate your contributions to the field.
