About Me

Marcio Iorio Aranha is a tenured professor of constitutional and administrative law at the University of Brasilia School of Law. He is director of the Research Center on Communication Policy, Law, Economics and Technology (www.ccom.website). From 2007 to 2013, he was a visiting fellow at the Annenberg Research Network on International Communication (ARNIC/University of Southern California). He is also director of the University of Brasilia Center on Law and Regulation (www.ndsr.org), and founder and coordinator of the Telecommunications Law Research Group (www.getel.org), where he is the chief editor of the Law, State and Telecommunications Review (RDET). Mr. Aranha teaches at the graduate and undergraduate programs of Law at University of Brasilia on the subjects of Constitutional and Administrative Law, General Theory of Public Law, Regulatory Theory and Practice, and Telecommunications Law.
