OMAR FARUQ is the Head of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Saic Institute of Management and Technology, Bangladesh. He received his Post-Graduate degree from the School of Communication and Information Engineering, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. He graduated from Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Daffodil International University. He engaged in research in SME, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Free-Space Optical Communication, Optical Fiber Communication, Image and Signal Processing, Nano-Optics, computer vision, and machine learning.
