About Me

I studied law at German and Polish  universities. I accomplished the PhD at a German Law School. During my practical education I was examining the conformity of national law with EU law, working for highest national authorities. Subsequently I was negotiating in the Council at the Working Party level and drafting national laws for a Member State’s Ministry. This experience let me understand the challenging task of finding a compromise on the EU just at the national level.

I am a researcher with focus on the influence of the EU law and EU institutions on national legal orders. The last 14 years of my scientifical activity I devoted my research to an exact examination of the inspiring practice of EU institutions. I conducted empirical research regarding the EU legislative procedure and practice of EU institutions. I examined precise the cooperation of EU institutions during law making processes. I conduct empirical research on EU legislative processes. I examine a.o. the cooperation of EU institutions during law making processes and the challenging participation of stakeholders. Moreover, the practices applied during the parliamentary debate and within the committees constitute a big part of my scientific work.
