Good research is not only about generating meaningful results but also about documenting methods and decisions in a way others can understand and reproduce. Prestige Kompally project will be easier to write up into a manuscript and less likely to miss important details during peer review if organised notes are taken during the project. Dataset versioning, clear reporting of methodology and consistent citation practices all contribute to improved and more reliable publications. Collaborative writing tools can also improve co-author communication by providing a shared workspace for editing and feedback. Good documentation is an investment in the current project and for future research. Good documentation makes it easier to build upon previous work and allows other researchers to evaluate and reproduce findings with greater confidence.
