The Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law invites submissions for Volume 17, Issue 1, for publication during the Fall of 2026.

We welcome articles and essays from scholars, practitioners, and other professionals on a wide range of legal topics within the scope of international, global, and comparative law. The Journal is particularly interested in pieces that engage with contemporary legal challenges, offer innovative perspectives, and contribute meaningfully to ongoing scholarly discourse. The Journal shall consider all submissions, but is particularly seeking contributions from scholars in the areas of indigenous, tribal, or federal Indian law.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions should generally range between 10,000-25,000 words, including footnotes, but submissions exceeding this range may also be considered.
- All citations should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (22nd ed.), although this requirement may be waived at the discretion of the Journal’s editorial board for authors based outside the United States.
- All submissions should be accompanied by a current CV or resume.

Submission Process
- Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis until early fall of 2026.
- Offers of publication will be extended beginning at the end of August, 2026.
- Manuscripts may be submitted electronically via Scholastica or by email to ndjicl@nd.edu.
